The Hidden Star Ranks Is a Bit BoringThe fifth Hidden Star on the couch episode is definitely a lot of fun, and if you've been paying attention to me for any length of time, you'll notice that I've been focusing more on building the hidden star ratings as a form of currency. Well, now we have a bit of a meta-analysis about the Hidden Star game with this episode. This is the fifth episode, and there are many things we see and take note of.The first thing you'll note is that if you're not playing as Uka, the hotshot sniper, then the only way you can get the Hidden Star is by using the Hidden Star ranks. Once you use up your rank, you can't get it again until you restart the game. Although I think it would be cool if you could do something like buy Hidden Star rings in the store, that way you can get multiple rings at a very low price without having to play the game or wait for hidden star ranks.The second thing that I noticed is that the Hidden Star rings are mostly broken. They aren't coming out very often, and there's no reason to have to fight over the one ring that you want so badly. In most cases, you'll find the games going on one after another, never really going anywhere. It's kind of a bummer, because the rings would have been so much more enjoyable to play with if you had any kind of variety.It's true that the Hidden Star ranks are useful. You can buy them at a decent price in the store, and they are pretty easy to get. You can grind your way through a few levels, but the base game isn't all that hard. But I have to wonder if maybe the Hidden Star ranks aren't supposed to be that hard.The third thing that's worth noting is that the Hidden Starranks seems to be low in the rankings. I know that ranking has a lot to do with how well you play the game, but sometimes there seems to be more room for improvement in the ranking than there is in the actual Hidden Star ranks.The fourth thing that is worth mentioning is that the Hidden Star ranks are down even fas ter than the ratings. I know that this is also due to the fact that people aren't really playing, but if you're trying to grind for Hidden Star ranks and make sure you get your own ring, it can get very frustrating. Not to mention that the game is about half the speed as it was in the first episode.And lastly, if you're trying to make Hidden Star farm a successful profession, you need to start doing more Hidden Star soloing. I think you'll find that doing that will add a little more challenge and variety to the game. Now that the players have enough firepower, they won't care so much about how many other people are playing.If you're having trouble getting Hidden Star ranks in Fortnite, I suggest you try out getting as many as you can. If you're struggling a little, then just remember that farming for rings is completely optional. Remember that the important thing is to have fun and keep playing the game to get as many points as you can.
